A special Flashback Lab performance at Localie. Our European company plays improv and performance theatre in the Playback style.
The format builds on the Playback Theatre tradition, which emerged in 1975 thanks to Jonathan Fox, Jo Salas and their first company. At its centre is attention to the person and their experience: even the most ordinary story deserves to be heard.
Nightmares, playback performance

The city falls asleep, Flashback wakes up. Each of us has a personal archive of nightmares: a bungee jump, an exam you never prepared for, the dentist’s chair. It’s time to look your fears in the eye and laugh at them, and maybe get rid of phobias through theatrical exorcism.
Actors and musicians perform stories told by the audience from their seats. You can become a co-author of the show or simply enjoy a performance that will never happen again.

Intensive “In Your Own Words” with Anya Andreeva
Starts November 9. 8 sessions of 3 hours: Monday 20:00–23:00, Saturday 14:00–17:00. Group of up to 12.
In one month you will write a story about yourself and tell it on stage. We will look at how plots are built, tune your speech, release tension and turn stage fright into drive. In December everyone gets their own moment on stage, and together they form one show.
Monday: PROYAV Studio (4 Simon Chikovani St). Saturday: CHUVI (34 Alexander Griboedov St).
450 GEL for the whole intensive, booking by prepayment.
